Rigorous Testing and Quality Assurance

All VELFAC products undergo extensive testing and quality assurance processes. Daily, countless customers across Europe put VELFAC windows to the test. Despite a proven track record of durability, we continuously implement stringent testing programmes to surpass all necessary standards.

Regulatory Compliance and Certification

As of 1st January 2023, all windows and doors in the UK require UK-CA marking, accompanied by a Declaration of Performance (DoP). VELFAC products comply with BS EN 14351-1, the standard for UK-CA marking.

PAS 24 Testing and Part Q Compliance

VELFAC products are tested to meet PAS 24:2016 standards, ensuring enhanced security performance for doorsets and windows in the UK, as monitored by UKAS accredited certification bodies.

Compliance with Building Regulation Part Q is achieved for residential buildings requiring planning permission through PAS 24 tested products.

Secured by Design Accreditation

VELFAC is part of the Secured by Design (SBD) scheme, endorsed by UK police officers, to deter and prevent crime in buildings. Products meeting recognised security standards receive the 'Police Preferred Specification' designation.

Danish Window Verification (DVV)

As a member The Association of Danish Window Manufacturers, VELFAC ensures compliance with quality standards in design, performance, materials, and surfaces, verified through independent checks.

Indoor Climate Mark and Health & Safety

VELFAC windows meet the Danish Indoor Climate Labelling (DIM) scheme requirements, improving indoor air quality. Additionally, as a SMAS Worksafe accredited company, VELFAC demonstrates adherence to health and safety standards set by the SSIP Core Criteria and endorsed by the Health and Safety Executive.
